CHARFOOS & CHRISTENSEN, P.C.’s
10 member non-lawyer support staff brings a variety of experience,
education and expertise to the firm to assist attorneys in
the development and prosecution of our clients’ cases.
Mary Jane Tytran, our complex litigation
manager, holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration
with a major in human resources (B.A.) and Master of Business
Administration with a marketing concentration (M.B.A.). She
served as the firm’s legal administrator for 16 years before
taking over management of our complex litigation department.
Her prior experience as a legal secretary enables her to understand
the functioning of the courts and her computer experience
enables her to offer technical support to the attorneys.
Christine Sikula, our legal administrator,
holds a bachelor’s degree in fine, performing and communication
arts with an emphasis on public relations (B.A.) and a Master
of Arts in public relations and organizational communication
(M.A.) Her education is complemented by 22 years of legal
secretarial experience. In addition to overseeing the firm’s
daily activities, she assists in developing and implementing
the firm’s marketing and public relations activities. She
serves on an advisory board for a local legal secretarial
training program and has been a guest speaker on numerous
occasions at local area schools.
The combined legal experience of our support staff is over
300 years. This longevity has enabled our staff to develop
relationships with court personnel and other legal professionals
that help them get the job done. Our law clerks have access
to Lexis and Westlaw computer data bases to assist in locating
the most accurate and current case law available. Together
with our attorneys, our support staff makes up a proven, qualified
and successful team.
